Talking about his project with Rajinikanth tentatively titled Thalaivar171 said that Rajini has hugged the director saying he nailed it dearly when narrated the story. Lokesh also confirmed that Thalaivar171 is a standalone film not a part of LCU.
He clarified that there is no confusion and he is already excited to go out of the universe and do a standalone film. He said that he is getting variation as he will proceed to do Kaithi 2 which again comes under LCU.
Lokesh Kangaraj has announced that he will retire after doing 10 films which left everyone in surprise. The Leo director doesn’t want to spoil anything about Leo but Thalaivar171 will be released in early 2025 and the Kaithi 2 shooting will start immediately after wrapping up Thalaivar171.
