Mollywood film titled Live starring Mamta Mohandas revealed their final release date. Director VK Prakash who has always experimented with scripts has directed this movie. Live is a thriller drama. Written by Suresh Babu, Live talks about how a fake news can change lives of many and how media acts onto it. Trailer also looked intriguing opening up with Mamta Mohandas as a doctor receiving vulgar texts every night and trying to complain about the issue. She is seen talking to netizens about the issue which turns around and what happens is the story line. Talking about the movie, Actress also remarked it as a project that underlines the reality of what controls the media therefore public density. She also said that she is proud doing the project and happy accepting the offer which she has ben waiting long to make good projects and got the opportunity with Live.
This movie also stars Soubin Shahir, Shine Tom Chacko, Priya Prakash Varrier in crucial roles along with others as supporting actors. Music director for the film is Alphons Joseph while cinematography is done by Nikhil S Praveen and editing is handled by Sunil S Pillai. movie is produced by Darrpan Bangejaa and Nitin Kumar under by Magic Frames. Live was supposed to release on 12th of May but pushed back two weeks making it release in theatres on May 26.
