The title ‘Queen of Rock n’ Roll’ was deservingly put into her feet and she turned it into diamonds with her everlasting, vibrant talent.
24 hours ago, at the age of 83, Tina Turner left this world due to a prolonged illness. She was diagnosed with intestinal cancer in 2016 and had a kidney transplant the following year, deteriorating her health over time.
Beyonce writes on her website, “My beloved Queen, I love you endlessly. I’m so grateful for your inspiration, and all the ways you have paved the way. You are strength and resilience. You are the epitome of power and passion. We are all so fortunate to have witnessed your kindness and beautiful spirit that will forever remain. Thank you for all you have done.”
Apart from biological issues, she was also married to Ike – her ex-husband – whom she was abused by, for 16 long years. Regardless, a lotus knows how to shine and rise between all the mud it’s surrounded with. Tina, similarly, didn’t let go of her resilience and talent. She used it like an anchor to swim through and reach the shore. In 2013, she chose to share her life with another man – Erwin Bach, who has given her the happiness she deserves. It’s heartwarming to know she left the world, knowing she’s loved and adored for who she is.
