Kalyan Ram is all set for his upcoming release, Devil, a 2023 release. During an interview, the Nandamuri actor claimed the film would be a thrill. The actor also mentioned that he listened to the story during the second wave of the pandemic, and the narration interested him as various character complexities were sketched beautifully.
The actor further added, “I liked two elements of the story: The backdrop, 1940’s backdrop with a Sherlock Holmes kind of a film, with the hero’s character being a mix of serious and funny personality.
The actor also praised Koratala Shiva for his upcoming film Devara. Kalyan Ram stated, After watching Glimpse, you will understand why Koratala Shiva is a trusted filmmaker.” Devara stars Jahnavi Kapoor, Junior NTR, Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Abhimanyu Singh and is bankrolled by Kalyan Ram. The film’s sequel shows Jahnavi Kapoor’s character shift in the sequel from being a leading lady protagonist to an antagonist.
Devil stars Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Samyuktha Menon, Satya Akkala, Malavika Nair and Ajay in lead roles.
