King of Kotha is an upcoming Malayalam gangster film directed by Abhilash Joshiy in his directorial debut and produced by Wayfarer Films and Zed Studios. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role, along with Gokul Suresh and Aishwarya Lekshmi.
The beginning of this film’s background score was formally announced by Jake BeJoy on Instagram. Malayalam films have recently had a big influence on Indian cinema. All eyes are now on King of Kotha after the 2018 movie earned over 170 crores globally. Sony Music has purchased the audio rights to the work. This movie has been shot to completion.
Nimish Ravi is in charge of the filming, Jakes Bejoy is in charge of the music, and Shaan Rahman and Jakes Bejoy each worked on a song independently. The movie’s announcement came in July 2021. Beginning in September 2022, principal photography was completed in February 2023. The movie is slated for a global premiere on August 24, 2023, which falls on Onam.
