Malayalam Filmmaker, Passed Away At 77
Swapnadanam, Oolkatal, Kolangal, Mela, Irakal, Yavanika, and Lekhayude Maranam Oru Flashback are some of KG George’s best-known works.
At the age of 77, renowned Malayalam director KG George passed away. He passed away on Sunday at his residence in Kakkanad, Kerala, according to Mathrubhumi.com. He was receiving stroke treatment. His wife Selma George is the only survivor.
Swapnadanam, Oolkatal, Kolangal, Mela, Irakal, Yavanika, Lekhayude Maranam Oru Flashback, Adaminte Vaariyellu, Kathakku Pinnil, Mattoral, Panchavadi Palam, and Ee Kanni Koodi are only a few of his well-known works.
For the films Yavanika, Swapnadanam, Adaminte Vaariyellu, and Irakal, he received Kerala State Film Awards. The JC Daniel Award was given to him in 2016 in honor of his lifetime achievements to Malayalam cinema.
