Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada was scheduled to release on 10 February, but following the success of Pathan, it was pushed to the theaters a week later on 17 February. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, Shehzada stars Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala and Ronit Roy in pivotal roles. It is the official Hindi remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunta Puram starring Allu Arjun in the lead role.
Karthik said about Shahzada, “It was the decision of the film maker and director. However, being a fan of Shahrukh sir, I liked the decision to postpone the release, Shah Rukh Khan’s latest movie Pathan was already running, no new film theaters at this time Bringing in didn’t feel right to the producers. So they just called and delayed it by a week, which was an easy decision. We went ahead with it.”
Talking about watching Pathan, Karthik said, “Maine dekha, isse pe react kiya di. I loved the movie. Actually after a long time I got a chance to see Shah Rukh-Salman sir together, it felt great.”
