Kollywood star Karthi is in tremendous form in this year delivered back to back huge hits with Viruman, PS-1 and Sardar. As per trade analysts, Sardar smashed the benchmark of 100 crores rs. And also the team of Sardar announced second part. These three films were successful at the box office. Already he is a proven actor but these films will make reprise the versatility.
The second part of PS-2 will commence soon and Sardar 2 also will likely to start next year. So in the meantime, Karthi was ready to do a movie titled “Japan.” Mallu beauty Anu Emmanuel was roped for the female lead. Anu is sharing the screen with Karthi for the first time. Anu’s latest Tollywood release Urvasivo Rakshasivo is in theatres now. Allu Sirish plays the protogonist.
Coming to Karthi movie, Japan is helmed by Raju Murugun, who won National Award with ‘Joker.’ GV Prakash Kumar is scoring the music for this film. According to some sources, Vijay Sethupathi will likely to play a crucial role in this film.
The shoot of “Japan” has begun today with a Pooja ceremony. Ravi Varman is on board for the cinematography. The official announcement is expected to be made soon. It is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.
