In a recent conversation with Bharadwaj Rangarajan, Kollywood’s critically acclaimed director Karthik Subbaraj got candid about writing a story for Shankar and spilling beans about it.
The upcoming Tollywood political film Game Changer, directed by Tamil ace director S. Shankar, is based on a story by Karthik Subbaraj. When Bharadwaj Rangarajan questioned how Karthik felt about writing the story for somebody else, Karthik Subbaraj revealed that he had that political story a few months ago. He revealed that his friends told him to narrate the story to Shankar, as the story seemed Shankar genre.
Karthik Subbaraj said that he narrated the story to Shankar, and the director liked the story. So he gave the story to Shankar. He revealed that Shankar wasn’t involved in the story, and the director himself developed the script. He said he is keen to watch the film in the theater as he is a big fan of Shankar.
Game Changer is a Tollywood film directed by S. Shankar and stars Rama Charan and Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Anjali, S. J. Suryah, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Nassar, Naveen Chandra, and Rajeev Kanakala. The political drama film is scheduled to release in April 2024.
