Netflix posted on its social media handle, the first look of Kareena Kapoor’s upcoming OTT debut ‘Jaane Jaan’. The caption says, “Jaane Jaan is coming ✨ on our very own Jaane Jaan’s birthday @kareenakapoorkhan ♥️ Mark your calendars for a present like no other. #JaaneJaan arrives 21 September, only on Netflix!”
After giving birth, Kareena Kapoor was inactive in Bollywood for quite some time to focus on her health and also her newborns. Now that OTT is the new blockbuster, she’s coming back with a bang on Netflix in her new movie Jaane Jaan on 21st September. In the teaser, her first look was revealed.
This Kareena Kapoor starrer is a crime thriller where a single mother and her daughter who commit a crime and a neighbor who helps them cover it up amidst a police investigation. Directed and co-written by Sujoy Ghosh, we have Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vijay Varma and Jaideep Alhawat in the lead to work their magic.
Vijay Varma’s previous OTT series Lust Stories 2 was another hit. Though he was there only for quarter of the entire film, his part was played phenomenally as the villain. After Darlings, this ‘chocolate boy’ has been receiving more intense roles and the audience is loving it.
Jaideep Ahlawat is an underrated actor who’s given more to cinema than we acknowledge. From 2008 till now, he’s done more than 20 movies including superhits like Commando: One Man Army and yet, he remained under the shadow for most people. With his lead in Jaane Jaan beside popular artists like Kareena and Vijay, there’s a chance for Jaideep to start shining hereafter.
