Speaking at the Cinevesture International Film Festival (CIFF) in Chandigarh, Karan Johar revealed that “Student Of The Year 3” will be directed by Reema Maya, known for her work on “Nocturnal Burger.” He emphasized that the series will reflect Reema’s unique vision rather than his own, allowing her to make it her own. Johar expressed his desire for the series to embody Reema’s voice, making it distinct from previous installments in the franchise.
Karan Johar Eyes Shanaya Kapoor?
While it was previously rumored that Shanaya Kapoor would lead “Student Of The Year 3,” no official updates have been provided. However, there’s speculation that she may still be part of the series, potentially making her debut on streaming platforms rather than in theaters. Shanaya was supposed to debut with Dharma Productions’ Bedhadak, alongside Laksh Lalwani and Gurfateh Pirzada, but the film has reportedly been put on hold.
