Sandalwood’s latest sensation Kantara was an all-time blockbuster in the Kannada industry. The leading lady in this film, Sapthami Gowda, bags a big opportunity, this time from Bollywood.
Going into details, the actress was roped for Vaccine War, which is being donned by Vivek Agnihotri, who made Kashmir Files. She is already a popular name and face in those circles mainly because of the Kannada film Kantara, which later became a pan-India phenomenon with versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
Sapthami Gowda will join the sets of Vaccine War along with Agnihotri’s wife Pallavi Joshi, who is also producing the film, Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, and Divya Seth, among others.
The actress expressed her happiness and wrote, “I’m glad and excited to be a part of this project! Thank you, @vivekagnihotri sir, for this opportunity.” She will join the sets in Hyderabad in the next two days.
Sapthami Gowda speaking to the Indian Express, said that Vivek Agnihotri liked her performance in the role of Leela in Kantara and wanted her to be a part of his film.
This Vaccine War film is slated to release on August 15, 2023, in 11 languages, including Hindi, Kannada, English, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Assamese and Urdu.
