Kangana’s take on Chandramukhi 2

Chandramukhi 2…

The awaited horror-comedy Chandramukhi 2 is now in production, starring actors Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut. The film is a precursor to the legendary movie Chandramukhi (2005), a remake of the 1993 Malayalam classic Manichitrathazhu. Therefore, this undertaking is no minor accomplishment. Rajinikanth and Jyotika, who played the film’s principal characters, achieved a notable career milestone thanks to Chandramukhi’s impressive 890-day theatrical run.

Expectations are sky-high as Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut get ready to emerge on screen as Vettaiyan Raja and Chandramukhi, respectively. I am the original Chandramukhi, Kangana recently said in an interview on the movie and her role. It’s a backstory that explores who she is and how and why she became a ghost.

When asked if she and Jyotika might be compared, Kangana responded, “I’m a tremendous fan of Jyotika, and it’s an honour to be a part of a brand she belongs to. Jyotika mentioned me in an interview when I was mentioned as her favourite actress; this was before I signed on for this movie. She inspires me since she is such a kind and giving person. Her role in Chandramukhi was one of those classic roles we all have as we grow up.

After Thalaivii, Kangana is making a comeback to the Tamil film industry. She emphasised the welcoming and engaging culture of South India, where crew members frequently relax and converse without being hooked to their phones. She compared this to Bollywood, where actors often leave their parts and go back to their trailers without interacting with one another.

“I requested my actors to hang back after the shooting in my upcoming film Emergency because it’s good to have them all engage in conversation. It happened frequently on the Chandramukhi sets. She continued that they have a significant impact because both the process and the outcome are essential.
