Kangana Ranaut’s film to be removed from theatres soon?

Tejas is an Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. The film was released on October 27, 2023, to mostly negative reviews from critics.

Tejas hardly makes any money at the box office despite the lack of competition. It has earned a total of around just Rs 5.50 crore till now. ‘Tejas’ was released alongside Vikrant Massey’s ’12th Fail’ in theatres, leading to a box office clash. In ‘Tejas’, Kangana portrays the character of Tejas Gill, an air force officer. The Kangana Ranaut-starrer, ‘Tejas’, is a colossal flop. The film is not seeing any growth at the box office.

Kangana Ranaut film has shown no growth since its release. On Thursday, November 2, ‘Tejas’ minted around Rs 40 lakh. Hence, the total box office collection in India now stands at Rs 5.50 crore. Tejas had an overall 8.43 percent occupancy on November 2.

Kangana shared a video with the caption, “Even before Covid, theatrical footfalls were dipping drastically post Covid, it has become seriously rapid. Many theatres are shutting down, and even after free tickets and many reasonable offers, the drastic footfall decline is continuing. Requesting people to watch films in theatres and enjoy them with family and friends, or else they (theatres) won’t be able to survive. Thanks.
