Kangana Ranaut favourite director
Kangana Ranaut, the Tanu Weds Manu actress made a post on Instagram today, wishing her favourite director a happy birthday.
Director Vasu P, the mastermind behind Chandramukhi 2, turns 69 today. On Kangana’s Instagram, she shared a fan page video where she’s on stage, dressed like the lead diva of Chandramukhi 2, telling the audience how Vasu P. how he taught her to walk gracefully like Chandramukhi. In the caption, she wrote, “Happy Birthday to my director Vasu Sir”
Vasu P is a director, writer and actor who works predominantly in Tamil and Kannada films, But, he has left no stone unturned with his expanding talent. He’s gone ahead with Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam a handful times too.
His last two movies as the director are remakes of previous masterpieces. His movie Drishya 2 is the Kannada version of Ajay Devgan’s blockbuster mystery thriller Drishyam 2. Chandramukhi 2, on the other hand, stems from Rajinikanth’s Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu. As an actor, he was seen in the Tamil movie Shivalinga in 2017, for a special appearance in song “Saarah Saarah”
Coming back to Chandramukhi 2, since Rajinikanth’s version hold such a prestigious reputation in the industry, Vasu P is under the pressure of doing justice to its sequel. Consequently, he delayed the release of the movie to work on its nitty gritty.
