Kangana Ranaut is famous Indian actress known for her Tamil biopic Thalavii for Tamil fans. Thalavii is a biopic of late former Tamil Nadu chief minister Jaya Lalitha.

Now the latest news in the Kollywood is that the actress was roped for a titular role in the sequel of Chandramukhi.
The prequel, which is released in the year 2005, starred superstar Rajanikanth and Jyothika. This time Raghava Lawrence will play the lead role in the sequel.
Chandramukhi is the Tamil remake to the official Malayalam movie Manichitrathazhu. Later the was remade titled Bhool Bhulaiya in Bollywood starring Akshay Kumar as lead.
In the sequel, Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing the role of a renowned dancer in the king’s court who’s known for her dancing skills and breathtaking beauty. National Award costume design winner Neeta Lulla will be working on the film to elevate the character of Kangana with her costume designs.
On the workfront, Kangana is making her second directorial Emergency. She will joins the first schedule of Chandramukhi 2 on the first week of December as per reports.
