KolLywood’s much-anticipated action film ThugLife is directed by Mani Ratnam. The star director is exploring a new genre, completely the on-and-on action genre, and also reuniting with his favorite actor, Kamla Haasan.
The film’s teaser was unveiled to positive reviews and created hype for the film. It was reported that Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s ThugLife are all set to start filming inside a college premises on January 18. Thug Life is claimed to be inspired by Hollywood films on social media by netizens. The film marks the reunion of the director and actor after 36 years.
Thug Life is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, and Siva Ananth with an estimated budget of Rs 100 crore. The film’s ensemble cast includes Thrisha Krishnan, Dulquer Salmaan, Jayam Ravi, Nasaar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhirami.
According to sources, the ThugLife shooting will start rolling on January 18, inside a college premise in Shenoy Nagar, Chetpet.
