Kamal fan fight: Manikandan clarifies his statement about Lokesh Kangaraj

Manikandhan who is an actor, writer, and also directed a film is famous in the Tamil Industry. His upcoming film ‘Good Night’ is set to release on May 12. On the other hand, Director Lokesh Kangaraj is famous for his films Master, Kaithi, Kamal Haasan’s Vikram and he is now working on the highly anticipated film Leo with Vijay Thalapathy.

Recently, both Manikandhan and Lokesh attended an event in which their statements made by them about who is Kamal Haasan’s fan was portrayed as a fight to all the others. It started when Manikandhan went onto the stage and said, “Whenever Lokesh Kanagaraj says that he is a fan of Kamal, I get angry. It feels like I should beat him. He also said that he will not give up the title of Kamal’s fan to anyone.”

To which, Lokesh later replied on the same stage, “Not one Manikandan… Even if 100 more Manikandans come, I will tear my shirt and go to fight. I will not give up that place.”

These statements by both of them were thought of as a fight and it was discussed on social media platforms. Later Manikandhan gave clarity about this, ‘I did not speak with the intention of disrespecting Lokesh sir. I am a big fan of Kamal sir. When I was unable to do it, Lokesh achieved many feats. After reaching such great heights, he could stand in front of Kamal sir and say that he is his biggest fan. I couldn’t tell. That’s what I was talking about in the award ceremony event. will not speak disrespectfully to anyone; It was not spoken for any other purpose than the abundance of love for Kamal sir. After speaking I came down to Lokesh sir and told him that I spoke so and so. When I was about to leave the venue, he asked me to wait for his reply” Mani said.
