Starring Prabhas, Kamal Haasan and Big B Amitabh Bachan, the much-anticipated film ‘Kalki 2898 AD Part 1‘ was launched with a lot of fanfare at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) a few days ago. The first look bagged a lot of negative responses, while the first glimpse which was released has garnered barely 20 million views so far.
Meanwhile, a few days ago makers of the film had announced the release date of Project K or ‘Kalki 2898 AD Part 1’ as January 12, 2024. But, it looks like the release is postponed to May 9.
As per the trusted reports, Ashwini Dutt, the producer of the movie and head of Vyjayanthi film, would prefer May 9 as the date is special to him. His films ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari’ and ‘Mahanati’ which was also directed by Nag Ashwin were released on that date and turned out to be blockbusters. With this in mind, the producer may push the film to May.
Also, it is heard that there is also a lot of work left reportedly for the film. The movie involves a lot of VFX and given that the first look of Prabhas from the film got trolled, Nag Ashwin seems to be enhancing all the work done before.
