Swapna Dutt, the producer for Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD, spoke at the recent South India project festival about her next project.
At the recent South India Film Festival, producer Swapna Dutt was asked about her upcoming pan-Indian film Kalki 2898 AD. Taran Adarsh questioned Swapna, a film critic and trade analyst, “What do you think people will take away from Kalki and Prabhas’ performances on screen?”
Swapa Dutt responded to the question after a long pause: “I think Bhairava will stay in hearts for a very long time.”
For those unfamiliar, Bhairava is the name of Prabhas’ character in Kalki 2898 AD. The creators disclosed this a few weeks ago on social media, with a futuristic billboard.
The Naga Ashwin directorial is se to hit the theaters in on May 9th, 2024, and is releasing in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and several other Indian and foreign languages.
The filmmakers have worked relentlessly for the past four years to create a game-changing film of epic proportions. The core team of Kalki 2898 AD, which includes director Nag Ashwin and stars Prabhas and Disha Patani, just finished shooting a song in Italy. The creators used their X (previously Twitter) account to provide updates on the shooting of the dance piece.
