Jimin ties with fellow BTS member with Closer Than This

BTS is one of the most fan-following K-pop groups. They are the number one boy band globally. With all the members enlisted in army activities, BTS member Jimin has achieved a record tie for the most No.1’s on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales Chart by a Korean soloist with the debut of Closer Than This.

BTS Jimin achieves feat by entering 4th place on US Billboard’s ‘Bubbling Under Hot 100’.Jimin’s solo single ‘Closer Than This’, released on December 22nd last year, was ranked 4th on ‘Bubbling Under Hot 100’, which ranks songs that unfortunately did not make it to the ‘Hot 100’.

Considering that ‘Closer Than This’ is a song sung in Korean and there is no separate activity, you can feel the great interest of global music fans towards Jimin.

In addition, ‘Closer Than This’ went straight to first place in ‘Digital Song Sales’ and ‘World Digital Song Sales’ respectively, and was ranked 35th in ‘Global (excluding the United States)’ and 55th in ‘Global 200’.
