Jayam Ravi is all set for the first release of the year for him in Siren, which is releasing on the 16th of February. The action entertainer directed by Antony Bhagyaraj has Keerthy Suresh in an important role. The makers of Siren unveiled the film’s trailer recently.
It opens with the voiceover of Jayam Ravi, who quotes how doctors often say that they could have saved lives if patients had been brought in a bit earlier. It also shows an aged Jayam Ravi coming from jail while Keerthy plays the role of an uptight police officer. Actor Anupama Parameswaran comes in the flashback as Jayam Ravi’s wife. It is also revealed that he had a daughter, and cut to the present, Jayam Ravi’s character has to prove himself against a case. Meanwhile, there is also Keerthy Suresh, who is at the helm of the case.
Siren will feature Jayam Ravi in two old and young appearances, hinting that the film will traverse time. While he denies an accusation put on him, Keerthy Suresh plays a cop who must solve the case and discover the absolute truth. Jayam Ravi plays the role of an ambulance driver called Thilakan.
The primary cast members of the film include Jayam Ravi, Keerthy Suresh, Anupama Parameswaran, Yogi Babu, and Samuthirakani, among others. The film is written and directed by Antony Bhaghyaraj in his maiden directorial. Sujatha Vijaykumar produces the film. Siren’s score was composed by GV Prakash and shot by Selva Kumar. Ruben has handled the edits.
As per reports, after its theatrical run, Siren will be available for streaming on Zee5 starting in March. It will be available on the platform after the film’s theatrical run. With the film yet to debut on big screens, the premiere date has yet to be announced.
