Jayam Ravi’s latest upcoming movie titled “Iraivan” has wrapped up with shooting and soon to hit theatres. Nayantara is going to play the female lead in the movie. With intriguing first poster, film looks appetizing. Movie is said to be a commercial entertainer with actor taking on a cop role. This is the second time Jayam Ravi and Nayantara has paired up after Mohan Raja’s directed ‘Thani Oruvan’. Even Ravi has played as a cop previously in films like ‘Thani Oruvan’ and ‘Bogan’.
Incidentally, this movie also makes it a second collaboration between Jayam Ravi and Ahmed after Jana Gana Mana. Jayam Ravi was last seen in movies like ‘Ponniyan Selvan’ sequels, Kalyan Krishna’s ‘Agilan’. his next movie with Antony Bhagya Raj is under shooting and will hit the theaters by the end of this year. Meanwhile Nayantara is shooting for ‘Jawan’ starring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan directed by Atlee. ‘Jawan’ is going to be Nayantara’s debut into Bollywood.
Keeping up with the news, Tamil star Siva Karthikeyan is occupied with multiple projects currently. Two of his movies have already completed with shooting and post productions. One among them is “Maaveeran” directed by Madonne Ashwin. Makers of the movie have officially announced it’s release date to be on august 11 on the day of unveiling the teaser of the movie. Although, they preponed movie release date to July 14th as Rajinikanth’s next “Jailer” is going to be released on the same day of August. This shocked the makers if ‘Maaveeran’ and decided to avoid the clash with superstar Thala.
It is to be hinted that Sivakarthikeyan’s Maaveeran also has rajinikanth’s connection and to avoid clashing both of his films, they pushed the movie to prepone. Maaveeran is rumored to be high octane politically commenting and action film from its narration. This is movie is produced by Arun Viswa under Shanthi Talkies. In this movie we can also see robot fame director Shankar’s daughter, Aditi Shankar as well. Music is composed by Bharath Sankar, cinematography by Vidhu Ayyanna and Philmon raj is handling the editing.
However, preponing Siva Karthikeyan’s movie to avoid clash with Superstar Rajanikanth’s next release ‘Jailer’ to july 14th, He couldn’t be able avoid the clashing with his movie on theatre as Jayam Ravi’s ‘Iraivan’ will also be releasing on the same date. Both heroes fans are equally excited to watch their movies, let’s see who wins at the box office.
