Janhvi Kapoor’s Ulajh shoot in Delhi postponed

Janhvi Kapoor, the new Bollywood crush of millions of people started her career with Dhadak, the Hindi adaptation of the blockbuster Marathi movie Sairaat. After that, she established herself in the game pretty easily with movies like Gunjan Saxena. Currently, she has more than one ongoing project, set to release in the near future. Bawaal, her Hitler history-inspired movie beside Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is very close to its release date on Amazon Prime Video.

Apart from that, another project named Ulajh, starring Janhvi as the lead is still in its construction phase. Janhvi had travelled to the UK with her team some time ago to film a part of the movie. Currently, the plan was to go to Delhi to continue with the shooting, but Delhi has other news to offer.

Like we all know, due to sudden heavy rainfall, the condition of Delhi has become pretty bad. Floods have covered several areas of the city, causing difficulties to the residents. “The whole team with Kapoor were to come to Delhi on July 10, everything was set. But they pushed the plan because the whole situation changed in a matter of a few days because of the rain, leading to a flood crisis.”

“And that is the reason they didn’t have any other option but to push the shoot. They were supposed to shoot in old Delhi, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, other monuments, at Lajpat Nagar market and area. They had an extensive plan to shoot in South Delhi too. And it is impossible at the moment, and keeping everyone’s safety in mind, the team pushed the plan. However, they have not decided to change the location. They will come to shoot in Delhi in mid of August and cover the locations.”
