Janhvi Kapoor talks about not learning Telugu
Janhvi Kapoor is making her debut South Indian film alongside junior NTR in Devara, directed by Koratala Siva, which is her first big project now. The actress seems super excited to work with Devara’s cast. However, Janhvi was also seen as nervous and stressed about learning her dialogues, and she shared how she feels ashamed of not learning Telugu before as she is working in Devara.
Janhvi Kapoor, in a recent interview, talked about her upcoming big project, Devara, and the difficulties she is facing while learning her dialogues, given that she doesn’t know the language. She said, “I never learned Telugu, and it is something I am ashamed of. I can understand it phonetically, but I can’t speak it. Yes, it is one of my biggest regrets. This part of me had been dormant for a while. But the Devara team is very patient and helpful. They are working with such stalwarts, and I am so grateful they are just a call away to help me with my lines.”
Junior NTR’s Devara Part 1 is an upcoming epic action drama with Janhvi Kapoor playing the female lead. Koratala Siva directs it under the banner of Yuvasudha Arts. The movie features excellent actors like Saif Ali Khan, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, Srikanth, and many others. Devara is expected to be released on October 10, 2024.
