Kollywood one of the most anticipated films after Leo is Rajini’s Jailer. The movie is directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar and produced by Kalanidhi Maran under Sun Pictures. Recently, the film completed its shooting and the makers are working on Post Production. Already the date August 10 is blocked for release.
Anirudh is scoring tunes for this film. The film has a star-studded cast including Mohanlal, Naga Babu, Sunil, Shiva Raj Kumar, Jackie Shroff, and others. Tamannah is the female lead in this movie. Coming to the movie’s business only in Kerala the movie sold out for 5.5 crores. Sri Gokulam Movies bagged the Mallu version rights.
We can expect a mass actioner in the style of Nelson Dileep Kumar and we all know the charisma of Rajini sir. If the movie was able to get positive talk it will be a cakewalk for Jailer to cross Break-even in style. The most concerning issue is that Rajinikanth is in need of Percent hit film as his last outings failed to impress the audience.
At first Mahesh’s Guntur Kaaram and Ranbir’s Animal are also slated to release on the same day August 10 with Jailer. Later on, Mahesh’s Guntur Kaaram gets postponed to next year because of a delay in the shoot.
