Jacqueline Fernandez, the Race 3 actress is busy enjoying her favourite song this Thursday evening. After all, someone who profoundly enjoys grooving to songs and is one of the best dancers in B-Town, must have a playlist of her own. Jacqueline Fernandez, while on a modelling assignment in India in 2009, successfully auditioned for Sujoy Ghosh’s fantasy drama Aladin, which marked her acting debut and won her the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year – Female. Fernandez had her breakthrough role with the psychological thriller Murder 2 (2011), her first commercial success. This was followed by glamorous roles in the commercially successful ensemble-comedy Housefull 2 (2012) and the action thriller Race 2 (2013), the former garnered her an IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actress nomination. Fernandez went on to star in the top-grossing action films Kick (2014) and Vikrant Rona (2022), and the comedies Housefull 3 (2016) and Judwaa 2 (2017).
Actress Jacqueline Fernandez considers Kick a turning point in her life, and says before featuring in the Salman Khan-starrer, she lacked confidence. “Post-‘Kick’, things have changed. Since Kick, it has been great work (for me) and it has been good. The offers have been great too. I am hoping I just keep growing,” Jacqueline told the media here. “I think what went wrong before ‘Kick’ was… I feel I didn’t have any confidence before ‘Kick’. That was the only thing which went wrong. When I look back, I feel I didn’t have the confidence back then,” she added.
Her latest work in acting was Crakk beside Vidyut Jammwal that released on August 31st, 2023.
