Acclaimed director Rohit Shetty is coming up with his first Indian force series that will be part of a cop universe titled Indian Police Force. This series introduces Sidharth Malhotra as a Delhi police Officer. Shilpa Shetty will be seen as the first female cop universe.
The Sukhee actress shared how she landed the first female role in the cop universe. She revealed, “I did Indian Police Force for Viaan and all the women in our forces who put in so much unconditional and selfless work. This series is an ode to my son.”
She opened up about how difficult it is for her to land a role in Rohit’s cop verse as she was busy with other commitments. “I couldn’t change those dates around, but Rohit came on a horse saying that he has to shoot a certain combination, and it was just a mad time,” said Shilpa Shetty.
Shilpa Shetty, part of the Indian Police Force, is also making her debut with the team, including Rohit Shetty, as a cop universe series. The series will be released on Amazon Prime Videos on January 19, 2024.
