On Wednesday, January 18, officials from the Income Tax department conducted raids in the offices and premises of Haarika & Hassine Creations, one of the biggest production houses in Tollywood.
According to reports, the raid was carried out at their offices and properties in Hyderabad for violating some information in their I-T returns (ITRs). The officials reportedly raided the residences of Haarika & Hassine Creations promoters amidst their new venture, tentatively titled SSMB28, with Superstar Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram Srinivas starting today.
Search operations also included producer Naga Vamsi’s flat at My Home Bhooja. It is also heard that the next IT Raid may happen at MythriMovieMakers, who recently released two big films, VeeraSimhaReddy & WaltairVeeraya.
The reasons for the sudden IT raids are not known yet. It’s not the first time such raids were conducted, as just a few days back, Mythri movie makers went through the same. They haven’t shared any official statement to put forth their side of the story. More details are to be known.
