Vamsi Paidipally is shooting the film with Thalapathy Vijay rather rapidly. Tentatively titled #Thalapathy66, the first schedule planned in Hyderabad was done and dusted. Along with the director, the movie team shared the poster on Twitter in which Vamsi can be seen chatting with Vijay. Both are seen standing beside a big window in the first look, with Vamsi facing the camera, and Vijay is seen from behind. This look is very much reminiscent of the look of Mahesh Babu from Maharshi.
Netizens have been commenting the same ever since the look was released. Some even express their concerns if the movie is a remake of Maharshi. There are more than a few comments on Twitter regarding this first look. While some are defending Vamsi, this can’t be a remake or copy of Maharshi since this will be Vijay’s first Telugu movie. Bankrolled by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film stars Rashmika Mandhanna alongside Vijay. Prakash Raj, Sharath Kumar, Srikanth, and Prabhu are all essaying key roles. Thaman is providing the tunes.
