Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s combo movie SSMB 28 is, at last, going to schedule. It is already a known fact that the film’s shoot is being postponed for so many days. The main reason behind the delay is Mahesh’s suggestions for changing the script. It shocked so many to see him delaying a project just because of script work. In general, Mahesh is not a star who is known to involve in the technicians’ work once he was committed to the project. But, surprisingly, for SSMB28, he started suggesting changes, that too, for ace writer-director Trivikram Srinivas. According to the internal sources, Trivikram is visibly frustrated with Mahesh’s corrections but ultimately, he made all the changes said by SSMB.
If the reports are to be believed, the film is tentatively titled Arjunudu. Superstar will be seen in a very different characterization, they say. The shooting is scheduled to be starting in the first week of next month. Since the project was announced, there were a lot of rumours doing rounds. The latest to join that list is that Superstar is taking home a whopping paycheck of Rs 70 Crores. Mahesh fans even trended this on Twitter boasting that Mahesh’s remuneration is the highest in Tollywood for a single language. Prabhas is said to be receiving Rs 100 Crores per movie being a pan-Indian star. Meanwhile, the SSMB28 team has put a dot to the speculations clarifying rumours are not true and Mahesh never demands more than what the movie can afford. On a side note, Mahesh had already a movie called Arjun directed by Gunasekhar. The film didn’t do too well at the box office. We have to wait and see if Arjunudu will become a blockbuster.
