After Annaatthe, Superstar Rajinikanth decided to team up with young director Nelson for his next film. Tentatively called Thalaivar 169, this movie was announced a couple of months ago.
Meanwhile, we now hear that the makers are considering this movie’s title ‘Jailer.’ Apparently, Rajini will be seen as a jailer in the film. However, there is no official confirmation about the news yet.
Aishwarya Rai will be seen as the female lead in this flick. This will be her second collaboration with Rajini after the 2010 release of Enthiran (Robo).
Priyanka Arul Mohan, Ramya Krishna, KS Ravi Kumar, and Kannada star hero Shivarajkumar play other important roles in the film. It is also being heard that Siva Karthikeyan will essay as a critical character in the movie.
Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for Thalaivar 169, and Sun Pictures is bankrolling the project. It is being heard that the makers are planning to release a special teaser in July to celebrate Rajini’s outstanding career of over 47 years.
