Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are among India’s most adored power couples. They come from their industries as powerful people who were united by love and bound by marriage. Virat and Anushka dated for a few years, then married outside India in an intimate wedding ceremony. This couple was blessed with a baby girl in 2021 named Vamika, and they haven’t revealed her face to the viewers yet.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knot in 2017, starting the fairy tale weddings in Bollywood. They welcomed their first child, Vamika Kohli, in January 2021, and the couple gave Vamika Kohli a little brother, Akaay.
On February 15, the world’s most famous couple, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, welcomed Akaay, their second child. Since the child was born in London, he is rumoured to become an Indian or British citizen.
Despite rumours, a report suggests that Akaay is not a naturalized British citizen. According to the regulations, citizenship is not a given just because someone was born in the United Kingdom. At least one parent must be a British citizen and have obtained settled status following a prolonged residency period to be eligible. Similarly, depending on the parents’ citizenship status, a child born outside of the UK to British citizens may also be eligible to hold British citizenship.
In Akaay’s case, he is not eligible for British citizenship, even though he was born in London and his parents own property there. Even with his UK passport, Akaay will always be an Indian citizen.
