Fans of the hit American television series Yellowstone have been on the edge of their seats for weeks. Paramount Pictures have officially announced that Yellowstone will end after the final episodes of season 5.
The announcement that the show is ending came along with the reveal that it will also be getting a sequel series, which will premiere in December (the second half of Yellowstone season 5 will now debut in November, a move from its originally announced summer placement.) There are few details about the as-yet-unnamed sequel, though the announcement has reignited speculation that it could be the previously confirmed Matthew McConaughey spin-off that Deadline.
However, as of early May, it appears that the show still has not begun filming for the second half of season five, and details about what we can expect from the show’s final episodes have remained elusive. Chris Mc Carthy, the president and CEO of Showtime and MTV Entertainment Studios, confirmed the reports with an official statement recently. Yellowstone has been the cornerstone on which we have launched an entire universe of global hits- from 1883 to Tusla King.
