Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel made her comeback and gave a blockbuster with Gadar 2 co-starring Sunny Deol and Utkarsh Sharma talked about the details inside the industry.
The actress is currently basking in the success of Gadar 2 which went on to collect over 300 crores at the box office within a week becoming one of the blockbusters in the history of Indian Cinema. Ameesha Patel played Sakeena, the wife of Tara Singh in this sequel.
In the latest interview with the media, The actress revealed that the whole industry was against the launch of Hrithik Roshan. Gadar 2 actress talked about the start of her career being the best launches Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai(2000).
Ameesha revealed how everyone was against the launch because no one really had faith in Hrithik Roshan as Abhishek Bachchan is also getting launched. The actress being non-filmy background and Jr Bachchan was launched with Kareen Kapoor so no one knew about this underdog project until Kaho Na… Pyaar Hai actually came to the screens.
People asked Rakesh Roshan to change the release date as they had SRK and Aamir Khan’s films before and after Kaho Na…Pyaar hai saying How can you bring these nobodies in between two hurricanes of the film but Rakesh Roshan was adamant about not changing anything as he has faith in his film.
This made the actress and Hrithik enough to do the film as their director had faith in their film and risked his own son’s career with a new girl and the rest is history says the actress.
