Indian 2 is an upcoming Tamil movie that is the remake of the 1996 film Indian which was directed by S. Shankar. Indian film had Kamal Haasan, Venu, and Manisha Koirala in the lead roles. The film was a vigilante action film, where the film focuses on an ex-freedom fighter turned vigilante bent on rooting out corruption, and his son, who is at the other end of the spectrum by facilitating corrupt practices leading to some unfortunate events. The film was a massive hit and it became the highest-grossing Tamil film of all time.
Now, Shankar is busy with the making of Indian 2, in which Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Venu, Rakul Preet Singh, Gulshan Grover and Siddarth are playing the important roles. The film team is currently shooting in Taipei (Taiwan) which is a 4 days schedule. Then the team will move to Johannesburg (South Africa) for a massive train action sequence which is a 25 days schedule.
It’s been announced that the shooting of Indian 2 will be completed by June and intends to release on November 10th during the Diwali festival. Fans are eagerly waiting for this highly anticipated movie.
