Rana and Saipallavi starrer Virata Parvam have been hogging the limelight since the film’s initial announcement was made. As the movie is going to hit silver screens on 17 June 2022, the makers organized a pre-release event on 15 June (Here are the clicks).
Speaking on this occasion, Rana made some surprising comments. He said he would not do the movies like Virata Parvam hereafter. Talking in the event, Rana said, ” Without the Sai Pallavi character, there is no Virata Parvam. The Director narrated this movie in a fearful backdrop but with an awesome love story” (Sai Pallavi will get National Award – Venkatesh).
Talking about his fans, he said, ” I thought only Venkatesh Garu fans were my fans. But I got to know I too have fans, only when I started this film. Many of my fans requested not to do these types of movies”.
“I promise my fans that this will be my last experimental film. Later on, we will rock with the commercial films”, he added.
Helmed by Venu Udugula, the movie is bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri under Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas. The movie also includes Priyamani, Nanditha Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, Sai Chand, Banerji, Nagineedu, and Rahul Ramakrishna, Devi Prasad, Anand Ravi, Anand Chakrapani and others in crucial roles.
