‘I was broken when I said no’ Says Mrunal Thakur

Mrunal Thakur is a rising star in Indian cinema, captivating audiences with her versatility and captivating screen presence. Now her film ‘Family Star’ is ready for release. The film features Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. This film’s trailer got a great response. During the promotions for this film, Mrunal attended a few interviews.

In the interview, Mrunal talked about the initial stage of her career. She said, ‘ Initially when Love Sonia happened, I took the role because if I do this film. I don’t have to prove to anyone that I can act. ‘ She continued saying, ‘ I got many similar scripts later Love Sonia but I couldn’t take them. I was heartbroken to say no to them because they are extraordinary scripts. But I cannot take up a line of similar films. I wanted to give the audience the flavors. That is when Super 30 happened’.

She recalled those times and said, ‘ For super 30, I learnt abit of Kathak. And this film made me Sita in Sita Ramam. Hanu sir watched me in super30 and fixed I am the Sita. and I am grateful for that’.

Her next film with Vijay Deverakonda titled ‘Family Star’ is all set to hit the screens on April 5th.
