Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter
The craze around actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer aerial action thriller film Fighter doesn’t end soon. The film features Hrithik as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, aka Patty, Deepika as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, aka Minni, and Anil as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, aka Rocky, fighting for the country.
Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film starred Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles. ‘Fighter’ was released in the theatres on January 25 and received terrific reviews and positive word of mouth from the audiences. It marks Hrithik and Deepika’s first-ever on-screen collaboration.
The Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor-starrer have entered India’s Rs 100 crore club. Most of Fighter’s revenue comes from metropolitan areas rather than broad distribution, and this is “the make or break Monday.” Fighter has had an “impressive total” over its extended four-day weekend.
Fighter is also the first Hindi film to reach a 100-crore club in India this year. However, the film has seen a drastic dip since this week.
