Hrithik Roshan’s action film Fighter is banned in Gulf countries except this country

There’s bad news for action film fans in Gulf Countries, who were eagerly waiting for the release of the duo’s film Fighter. According to film business expert and producer, Girish Johar, Hrithik Roshan, and Deepika Padukone starrer Fighter has been denied release in all Gulf countries except UAE as of now.

However, makers are yet to announce the reason beyond the ban.  Girish tweeted, “In a setback, #Fighter officially banned across Middle East regions for theatrical release. Only UAE will release the film with a PG15 classification!”

Fighter team also confirmed the update regarding the release of fighters in Gulf countries except the UAE. The makers are yet to give any official statement regarding the same. While Fighter has failed to receive a green light from the censor board in Gulf countries, the aerial action thriller will be released in Indian theatres on January 25.

The action film is directed by  Pathaan fame Siddharth Anand and stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi. It is produced by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures with an estimated budget of Rs 250 crores. The film is a tribute to the valor, sacrifice, and patriotism of the Indian armed forces. The highly anticipated action film is all set to hit theaters worldwide on 25th January.
