Akshay Kumar can be considered as one of the most busiest actors in the entertainment industry. The OMG2 actor does multiple films in a year, and the upcoming sequels of his previous films are lined up, one of them being “Housefull 5”.
Akshay Kumar and Sajid Nadiadwala joined hands for Housefull in 2010, which became a blockbuster hit at theatres, and the makers continued the franchise with sequels, with their latest Housefull 5 slated to release in theatres in 2024 Diwali.
On December 4, the makers of the film issued an official statement saying that ‘Housefull 5’ will now be released in 2025. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala released a statement that says, “The Houseful franchise owes its massive success to the audiences, and we hope for a similar reception for Houseful 5. The team has crafted an absolutely mind-blowing story that demands top-notch VFX. Therefore, we’ve made the decision to push the release to ensure we deliver five times the entertainment with a great cinematic experience. Housefull 5 will now be released on June 6, 2025 (sic).”
Housefull 5 is a franchise of Housefull featuring Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh as the main lead. This fifth instalment is helmed by Tarun Mansukhani, who is known for his Dostana film.
