Karnataka actor Rishabh Shetty’s actioner kantara grossed over 210 crore rs since it’s release of September 30. The film is very near by edge to beat the Rockstar Yash’s KGF-1.
Just as predicted the drama has grossed more than 200 crore rs worldwide. As per latest trade reports, the film is still running in theatres having 210 crores gross as of now. With these stunning numbers, the film is going to be the hat-trick for both Hombale Pictures and the Kannada Film Industry. The other 2 films are Rockstar Yash’s KGF-1 and KGF-2.
Continuing with these numbers, Kantara will cross KGF-1 and as of now it is behind by 30 crores. As per estimation with this ongoing box office performance the movie will break KGF-1 records with in next 5-6 days.
Another major milestone is that it is the only second Kannada film in history ever to cross the $1million mark at the USA box office and it has done within 23 days. And it become the highest rated Indian film as of now.
