For a few days, speculation has been rife that actor Sivakarthikeyan is ready to do his next film with a Telugu director after the disastrous Prince. Shivakarthikeyan has predominantly done films in Tamil and is venturing into the Telugu market too. However, his last venture, Prince, directed by Telugu director Anudeep, was a flop.
Meanwhile, it is speculated that Sivakarthikeyan will join hands with director Harish Shankar for a film that will be backed by Dil Raju. However, according to our inside sources, the news that Siva Karthikeyan and director Harish Shankar are collaborating on a film produced by Dil Raju is false.
Sivakarthikeyan is currently busy with Maaveeran, directed by Mandela-fame Madonne Ashwin. The film will be released in Telugu as Mahaveerudu. Sivakarthikeyan will also make an appearance in a Kamal Haasan-produced film with Rajkumar Periasamy as the director.
On the other hand, Harish Shankar will collaborate with Pawan Kalyan on a film titled Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
