The supernatural thriller “Virupaksha” starring Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon has been a massive success at the box office worldwide. The movie, directed by Karthik Varma, has earned a share of over Rs 26 crore in the Telugu states and also crossed the $1 million mark in its first week in the USA.
After its impressive performance in Telugu, the Tamil version of “Virupaksha” is all set to hit theatres across Tamil Nadu on May 5. Ahead of the release, now the exciting thing is that a special premiere of Virupaksha has been screened last night in Chennai. The viewers and critics who have attended the show praised the engaging content and solid performances from the leads. Since the premiere, positive reviews have been pouring in, which is expected to boost the film’s opening and overall success. The positive word of mouth will help the film for sure.
The renowned Tamil film production and distribution house, Studio Green, owned by KE Gnanavel Raja, will release the film in a large number of theatres throughout the Tamil region.
This movie has an ensemble cast of Sai Dharam Tej, Samyuktha Menon, Ajay, Rajeev Kanakala, Sai Chand, Brahmaji and Sunil. BVSN Prasad produces Virupaksha under the banners of Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings. B Ajaneesh Lokanath composed music for the film.
