Megastar Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan’s consecutive choices of remakes, with Chiranjeevi aiming for safe bets and Pawan Kalyan for faster production, have failed to captivate the fans of both these iconic stars.
The attempts to adapt these remakes based on their respective stardom and regional appeal have yet to yield the intended results. A recent report suggests a different narrative as rumours circulate about Megastar’s potential involvement in another remake.
Reportedly, Chiranjeevi was believed to have committed to a film directed by Kalyan Krishna, initially speculated to be a remake of the famous Malayalam hit ‘Bro Daddy‘.
It was rumoured that Trisha and Sharwanand were also on board for significant roles in the project. However, the latest update contradicts these claims, revealing that Chiru and Kalyan Krishna’s collaboration is not a remake of ‘Bro Daddy’ but an original, cost-effective storyline penned by Prasanna Kumar.
The narrative suggests that the description has been adjusted to align with Chiru’s persona, incorporating all the essential elements to captivate his widespread fan base. However, fans disagree with the notion of “modifications according to image,” likely due to the recent movie “BRO” featuring Pawan Kalyan. In that film, the alterations primarily consisted of references to the actor’s famous songs, which left fans less impressed.
Chiru’s upcoming film “Bholaa Shankar,” directed by Meher Ramesh, is already a remake of Ajith’s 2015 movie “Vedalam.” The movie is generating relatively low buzz, with its release scheduled in six days.
It’s worth noting that Chiranjeevi’s recent films like “Godfather” and “Khaidi No 150” were also remakes. Similarly, Pawan Kalyan’s films like “BRO,” “Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” “Bheemla Nayak,” “Vakeel Saab,” “Katamarayudu,” “Gopala Gopala,” “Gabbar Singh,” and “Teen Maar” were all remakes. It remains to be seen if Chiru is indeed not pursuing a remake of “Bro Daddy.”
