Actual name is M.M.Keeravani is Koduri Marakathamani Keeravani. He not only worked as an Indian film composer for many films but also as a playback singer, and lyricist, in not just Telugu cinema but in Indian cinema. He has composed music for multiple languages like Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The music director made his debut way back in 1990 and got his first success in the year 1991. The man has stayed relevant for over 30 years!!
Keeravani is iconic director Rajamouli’s cousin and Rajamouli’s every film has Keeravani himself as music director. Keeravani’s wife M. M. Srivalli who works as a line producer in films is the elder sister of SS Rajamouli’s wife Rama Rajamouli.
At the 95th Academy Awards in Dolby Stadium, LA, M.M. Keeravaani has been awarded the Oscar along with lyricist Chandrabose for Best Original Song for ‘Naatu Naatu’ from “RRR”.
