Kalyani Priyadarshan was born on April 5, 1993, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She is the eldest of two children, her younger sibling being Sidharth. The actress attended primary school in Lady Andal, Chennai, and then went on to study in Singapore, where she also performed with theatre groups.
Kalyani Priyadarshan, who comes from a movie background, always loved the magic onscreen, however, after her schooling in Chennai, she jetted off to New York, wherein she studied architecture design! Yes, Kalyani Priyadarshan holds a Bachelor’s in architecture design.
Kalyani Priyadarshan started off her career in showbiz as an assistant to ace production designer Sabu Cyril. She has worked along with him in the Bollywood movie, ‘Krrish 3’, which was released in 2013, starring Hrithik Roshan.
Later following her mother Lissy’s footsteps, when she was offered a role in the Telugu movie ‘Hello’, Kalyani accepted it! She gave it a try and later continued working in films as an actor.
