Harrison Ford was awarded an honorary ”Palme d’Or” at the 76th Cannes Film Festival

Harrison Ford has been surprised with an honorary ”Palme d’Or” Lifetime- Achievement Award for his contribution to cinema at the Cannes film festival before the premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

Indian Jones actor said in his speech, ”I’ ‘m very moved by this. They say when you are about to die, you see your life flash before your eyes, and I just saw my life before my eyes.”He fought back tears, but when the end credits rolled on ”Indian Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” the 80-year actor received a standing ovation for 5 minutes.

Ford attended the world premiere of one of the most anticipated events of the French Rivera Festival along with his wife Calista Flockhart and with the director James Mangold and cast, writer and actress of ”Flea Bag” Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelson, and Ethann Isidore. Indiana Jones and the Dail of Destiny is set to be released on June 30 2023 in unites states.
