Harish Shankar Takes Indirect Dig On Venkatesh Maha Comments

The controversy around the words of Venkatesh Maha’s comments about the movie KGF is still ongoing. Many celebrities are sharing their ideas on this on Social media. Meanwhile, Harish Shankar made some indirect comments on the same.

During the successful meeting of the film Balagam, he said that just like how different personalities exist in a family, the film industry is also like one household that should work together. He also stated that people are not attending theatres because they choose to watch content on OTT platforms. He added that many larger issues are at play, and unnecessary controversies should be avoided.

Also, indirectly pointing out Venkatesh Maha, Harish said that terminologies like mass cinema, class cinema, and commercial cinema are just used to categorize a movie. He added that all it matters to the audience is whether a film is good or not.

“It is not right to tell everyone to give up biryani and only eat curd rice. If you want to eat biryani, it is also reasonable to ask to try curd rice too”, he added.
