Hanuman helmed by Prashanth Varma and starring Tejja Sajja is killing the box office. The film was released on 12th January with a positive response from critics and audiences and collected more than Rs 9 crore on its 8th day.
According to Sacnilk.com, HanuMan has minted nearly ₹99 crore so far in India. The film was released in theatres on January 12. The film also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Amritha Aiyer, and Vinay Rai in the lead roles.
The mythological period drama film set in the fictional village of Anjanadri, HanuMan marks the beginning of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU). Hanuman was made with an estimated budget of Rs 60 crores and has already earned over ₹150 crores at the worldwide box office according to Wikipedia. The Telugu-language superhero film has also been written by Prashanth Varma. It is reported that screens for HanuMan are increasing due to demand, and it is expected that the film will soon enter the 200 club.
